Characterization of Aluminium Metal Matrix Composite

Composite materials are superior to the straight massive materials with respect to achievable combination of strength, density and stiffness.Metal matrix composites (MMCs) based on aluminium & aluminium-magnesium alloys are excellent candidates for engineering light structure materials, and have great potential in automotive, high performance defence and aerospace applications.
