Seine Porträts wirken spontan und zugleich präzise komponiert; seine Reportagen eröffnen überraschende Perspektiven auf gesellschaftliche, kulturelle und politische Realitäten und Identitäten. Mit seinem unverkennbaren Stil und der Fähigkeit, komplexe Themen präzise zu erfassen, zählt Andri Pol zu den eindrucksvollsten Stimmen der zeitgenössischen Dokumentarfotografie.
Andri Pol - Welt ist Teil einer umfassenden Gesamtdarstellung seines vielseitigen Schaffens. Die Reportagen, Porträts und Alltagsbeobachtungen hat Pol rund um den Globus aufgenommen, mit wiederkehrenden geografischen Schwerpunkten unter anderem in der Schweiz, in Japan und in China.
