ABC of Shielding

The reference guide 'ABC of shielding' consists of three different parts, namely the basics, the components and the application part. This reference book brings the knowledge about EMC shielding and shielding materials with their properties and characterizations to the point. It offers practical recommendations for the successful use of shielding in different areas of application and helps to achieve optimum results.Chapter 1 deals with the basics such as aspects of PCB design or standards and how these can be met with shielding materials. Basic physical effects are explained.Chapter 2 describes the various shielding materials, their characterization and technical parameters.Chapter 3 contains practical advice on the use of shielding materials in applications such as wireless power supply, PCB-level shielding or NFC and RFID applications. In addition, a tips section provides a comprehensive overview with practical advice on the selection and use of shielding materials.
